Vegetable Pasta
INGREDIENTS
  • Macaroni shells
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 small squash
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon grated onion
  • 3 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1  christophine
  • 1/2 head small cabbage
  • Okras
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 tbs  margarine
  • Cheese
  1. Boil macaroni until cooked, drain and place one side. Wash and cut vegetables into slices.
  2. Begin to steam the vegetables until they are cooked.
  3. Melt margarine over low heat, take off heat and blend in flour until the mixture is smooth. Include milk, mustard, onion, salt and pepper.
  4. Return to heat until until sauce is thick. Put aside and include 2 ozs of cheese. Place vegetables in a greased dish and pour in cheese sauce.
  5. Add macaroni shells, cover with sauce and remaining cheese. Heat in oven at 350 degrees until top is slightly brown.
