Pickled Breadfruit
INGREDIENTS
  • Breadfruit
  • Lime
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Pickle
  1. First peel, cut and remove core of the breadfruit. Next cut the breadfruit into slices. Boil the breadfruit in salted water.
  2. Make a pickle (sauce) of lime juice, onion, salt and pepper.
  3. Once breadfruit is fully cooked, pour this pickle (sauce) over breadfruit slices in a dish. You can serve this with salted cod fish or any kind of meat.
