Fried Conch
INGREDIENTS
  • 4 conchs
  • ½ cup of flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup beer
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

 

 

 

 

PREPARATION:

  1. Properly clean conch by washing take off the foot as well and pound until meat is shredded.
  2. Marinade conch meat for at least two hours in lime juice, salt, pepper and water.
  3. Combine eggs and beer, baking powder and flour to create a batter for the conch. Dip conch pieces in batter. Fry on both sides until brown.
  4. Add  lime wedges and serve with a starch of your choice fries, rice etc and a dipping sauce.
