- 4 conchs
- ½ cup of flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup beer
- Salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
- Properly clean conch by washing take off the foot as well and pound until meat is shredded.
- Marinade conch meat for at least two hours in lime juice, salt, pepper and water.
- Combine eggs and beer, baking powder and flour to create a batter for the conch. Dip conch pieces in batter. Fry on both sides until brown.
- Add lime wedges and serve with a starch of your choice fries, rice etc and a dipping sauce.
