Chicken Butter Bean Balls
  • 1 1/2lbs flour
  • 2/3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons glow
  • Margarine
  • 1 lb beans
  • 1/2 pint ice water
  • Thyme
  • Marjoram
  • Curry
  • Shallots
  • 1 1/2 lbs cook chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 finely chopped green pepper
  • 3 onions
  1. Mix in the margarine with the flour. Include the milk, vegetable oil, and ice water to make the pastry, and put aside.
  2. Put onions, pepper and herbs in a skillet with margarine and saute for 3 minutes. Include chicken and saute for an additional five minutes. Cook beans whole and have them prepared.
  3. Make balls the size of fists from the pastry and roll them into circles. Inside every pastry circle on one side place a tablespoonful of the chicken mix.
  4. Put 2 beans on top the mixture, wet the edge of the pastry with water, fold and seal the ends with a fork. Use a brush and place the egg and milk mixture on the tops.
  5. Bake in the stove at 200 degrees for 30 minutes until lightly brown. Serve with a sauce.
